Relationship Therapy For Couples
Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of connection and security. But over time, life stresses, difficult experiences or a loss of trust can leave couples caught in painful patterns that can be hard to change.
You may find yourselves having the same arguments, becoming critical or defensive, shutting down or increasingly turning away from each other. Or perhaps an affair, betrayal or breach of trust has left you wondering whether your relationship can recover.
Over time, these experiences can create increasing distance, leaving one or both of you feeling lonely, hurt or disconnected, which may be what has brought you here.

Couples Therapy
We help couples reconnect using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach grounded in attachment science. We help you understand the patterns you become caught in and the emotions and needs beneath them. Where there has been betrayal or a significant relationship injury, therapy can also provide a supported space to understand what happened, address the hurt and begin the process of rebuilding trust.
Helping you re-connect
Alison and Ros are trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), an approach based on the science of attachment. Couples therapy is available in Worthing (Alison), Plumpton Green (Ros) and online.
“Our aim is to help you understand what happens between you, heal relationship injuries and step out of the cycles that keep you stuck – finding new ways of reaching and responding to each other and rebuilding a safer, stronger connection.”
